Korean Restaurant Da On previously known as Kung Jung, Pavilion KL

Hmm, until very recently this place was known as Kung Jung! Wonder why the name change? The food remains good, the place looks the same!

Add: Restoran Da On @ Lot 6.40, Level 6, Pavilion KL
Tel: +603 2141 2100

We had lots ... and LOTS of barbecued meats, which they prepared for us, and brought to our table (That way our fancy clothes won't stink, haha!), this included some Lamb Galbi (RM$55) and So Galbi (RM$65 x 2 portions again!). Also had the Dak Galbi @ RM$40.

Our gang's favourite ... Yukhoe (RM$60 x 2 portions).
Wikipedia describes this dish ...
Yukhoe refers to a variety of hoe, raw dishes in Korean cuisine which are usually made from raw ground beef seasoned with various spices or sauces. The beef part used for yukhoe is tender rump steak. For the seasoning, soy sauce, sugar, salt, sesame oil, green onion, and ground garlic, sesame seed, black pepper and bae juice (Asian pear in Korean) are used.

Here's our spread ... for the five of us :-) SLURP! Also had the Haemul Pahjeon (RM$30), Japchae (RM$30) as well as Dolsot Bibimbap (RM$25).

To finish off ... and wash the pallet, some watermelon.

Ps - The total damage? Not cheap, RM$561 for the five of us.

The restaurant might have its owners changed. What a feast you had. My favorite Korean food is Dolsot Bibimbap.
