This new hybrid is a purple-colored glutinous corn. The plant is about 150-180 cm in height. It is vigorous, very tolerant to both heat and cold, and also diseases. It matures about 70 days in Taiwan summer crop, and about 100 days in winter. Very prolific. The ears are large and fat, ready for picking when one third (1/3) of the kernels turn purplish-red. Soft, fine-textured and chewy.
