Ice Flower Dumpling Restaurant - Beijing Cuisine, Damansara

Exclusive! This may just be the FIRST write-up on this unique restaurant, serving authentic Beijing cuisine which tastes home-cooked, located in Uptown Damansara Utama. Thanks to Rich and Ange for taking us here :-)

Seems they are moving to Gotong Jaya, on the way up to Genting, in three months, or roughly at the end of 2008.

Hmm, what should we order tonight? Ask the boss for help on recommending their finest dishes, or get some chinese-translation help!

Vegetarian and meat dishes ... beancurd, cabbage, pork (excellent!) and more brinjal.

These are the signature dishes ... various flower dumplings. Sort of like a xiu loong bao, but with a crusty skin / pastry on the top. RL informs me that it used to be the meals of kings, well we were kings for the evening!

Also had a good sweet and sour style fish.

Sizzling and full of flavour ... Black pepper lamb.

Good value meal, and highly interesting too ... about RM$27 per person only.
R was back for a bit, so we caught up with her for din-dins ... Yum!

Always game for a good laugh!
