Great poster of Malaysia's F1 track :-)

Interesting write-up from The Canadian Press ... TOO LATE TO START:
Malaysia will review its twilight start for next year's Grand Prix amid concerns that bad weather could again hamper the race, which was cut short Sunday due to heavy rain and poor visibility.
"In the future, we may allocate a different time, perhaps earlier," new Prime Minister Najib Razak told reporters. "There are also suggestions to do a night race but we need to look at the cost."
Mokhzani Mahathir, chairman of organizer Sepang International Circuit, said he consulted F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone after the race was abandoned and they agreed to look again at the starting time."I had a talk with Bernie just now and we will review it. As to exactly what time we will start next year, we are not sure but we will review the timing for next year's race," he said.
Australia and Malaysian organizers had refused to organize night races, but agreed to push back the timing of the race to 5 p.m. this season to suit European fans, who would be watching at breakfast time.
Mokhzani said they could install a lighting system to illuminate the circuit if the race gets delayed but heavy rain will still be an issue as it makes track conditions dangerous.

Adieu...

Anyway, here are the final results of our country's 11th Grand Prix!
Race was ended after 31 laps, due to the heavy rain:-
On the podium...
1st: Jenson Button "JB" - Team Brawn
2nd: Nick Heidfeld - BMW Sauber (Team Petronas!)
3rd: Timo Glock - Toyota (Yes, Toyota!)
Other results...
4th: Jarno Trulli - Toyota are so strong this season!
5th: Rubens Barrichello - I believe Team Brawn could have hada 2nd consecutive double-podium finish IF the race had gone on!
6th: Mark Webber - Great effort from Red Bull
7th: Lewis Hamilton - Not bad effort by McLaren-Mercedes from theback!
Hard to believe, Ferrari only came in 9th (Massa) and14th (Kimi).
Sigh, double Sepang champ, Alonso in the Renault was 11th.

A lucky few got to watch Jamiroquai (Yes, its the Space Cowboy!) perform on the Sunday evening ...
