Hee Soon Fong, Teluk Panglima Garang in Klang - Excellent!

Is it worth the drive "into" Teluk Panglima Garang, to find this humble eatery? Oh, yes!!

Add: Hee Soon Fong - Jln Klang-banting Batu 11 1/2, Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor.
Tel: Wong Tin Soong @ +603 3191 4681 , +6012 308 1866
Opening hours: Lunch and dinner (We got there at 12:30pm and the restaurant which seats 40-50 was already packed!)
Located:
1) At the end of the KESAS highway, you will get to a bridge signboarded Klang (right) and Banting (left).
2) Head towards Banting, and drive 8km straight through kampungs and various shops and factories (Eg. Toyota sales on right, Toyota service centre on right, NEC-Toshiba on the right)
3) Slow down when you see a signboard for "Perkampungan Orang Asli Pulau Carey" on the left, and you will soon see the "Inflex" factory too.
4) Take an immediate left, and turn left into the temple. The restaurant is alongside this chinese temple.

We chose Hiong Pin tea as always ...

Glad we had tea (RM$4) and conversation to amuse ourselves, it was nearly a 30 minute wait for the food ... which was so worth it :-) The propietor, Wong Tin Soong with the bushy eyebrows, came over a few times to chat with us about the food and the 21 year old history of his restaurant.

My fave dish, and the cheapest too ... RM$6. Yes, 6 bucks! Choy-poh To Fu, sublimely tasty!

Fah lam pork, "flower pork" cooked ala Tung Poh style. Magic! So tender, so tasty.. $10

Signature dish ... Fried chicken with a hint of Lam Yee, superb! Tender, and juicy. $16
Overall, we were stuffed, and was pleased with the bill too. RM$38. Only in Klang!
