Best yam rice ever - Tien Chuan, Chi Liung Klang

Add: Taman Chi Liung, Klang
Located: An old area with few rows of shops, and a morning market right behind a row of shops. Opposite row of terrace houses, and near O-Cean restaurant.
Previous visit: Tien Chuan Kopitiam

Gotta get here for breakfast time, as they sell-out by 11ish/12pm! This RM$3.50 portion of Yam Rice was worth the wait (i.e. they had run out a week ago, I had been thinking about this all week!) ... the yam was silky smooth like a boiled egg! The sweet sambal was perfect, and the rice packed a subtle yet powerful flavour.

Yes!...

The Char Kuay Teow from a neighbouring stall was pretty good too ;-) Again, RM$3.50. Good value! Smooth kuay teow, and fresh shrimps. Loved the chives!

Haha, like your liberal use of the great Dane's claim. Yam is really way, way underrated! The sambal looks a punch and a half!
