3 safety observations from Zeta Bar's 'temporary' relocation to the KL Hilton Ballroom on New Year's eve ... I was just going through photos of the New Year celebrations at KL Hilton ... and was spurred by this memory.
(1) The glass topped tables were very unstable, and with a slight movement, ours came crashing down! Luckily our friends weren't hurt, only the Chivas was! (Hmm, how did the Macallan survive the fall ... it did!) Tsk tsk ...
(2) AND, soon after the staff (whom I give credit to for their prompt and courteous response) cleared up and 'rebuilt' our table ... I found wine glasses and glasses at the edge of the platform! Ps. Those are PLASTER / BAND-AID wrappers which our friend had to apply, on the right-side of the photo below!
(3) ALSO ... Why was the design of the mezzanine platform where we partied so high off the ground, with no 'high visibility' barrier tape marking out the 'fall hazard'?
