Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta

The start of the event ... setting up the balloons.

I was armed with all my lenses, but ended up only using the Nikkor 55-200mm VR Zoom and Tokina 12-24mm zoom.

And to our surprise ... they took off!

Yes, that's a plane "below" the balloon!

There were plenty of Nikon and Canon SLRs, and even a couple of Sony Alphas, and of course mobile phones too :-)

Did you know that even the "simplest" ones cost USD$20-30K?

We were lucky to have the PEACOCK right in front of us :-) It towered above us!

It was a gorgeous sunny evening!

There was even a Pink Elephant!
