Reunion @ Bangsar Village 2 (BV2)

Add: Lot 2F-17 & 18 , Level 2, Bangsar Village II, Jalan Telawi Satu, Bangsar Baru, KL
Tel: +603 2287 3770

Here's the view of the really nice Private Room, seats about 15 in all. Great view of Bangsar out the huge window!

In true Reunion fashion, the table was large, and there were TWO lazy-susans (i.e. revolving centrepieces, which allows for food to be shared). SK reckons the middle section between the two lazy-susans is necessary for the Loh Sang at Chinese New Year, hmmm.

Appetiser - Brilliant! We ate plates and plates of this Sliced Lotus Root and Steamed Peanuts. Slurp!

Best Hokkien Mee in town? Quite possibly!

Roast meats ... Including delicious duck. Not quite a fan of the Char Siew which was too fatty on the night.

Another signature dish ... Tofu with Minced Pork.

Other dishes included Spinach in Superior Stock (nearly like a soup - it was good!), Sweet and Sour Pork. And, whilst the Ham Tan Prawns (Salted egg) were convenient (de-shelled), but it just didn't have the 'kick' and was hardly spectacular.

Great service! Special mention to the excellent Manager who served us all night, who let us sit through until midnight even though all other guests had left and the restaurant was closed, was courteous yet respected our privacy, and took plenty of photos for us!

ps - Here's a review of a previous visit to this very yummy restaurant
