I really like this unassuming place, have to say that the selection of cakes and pastas + some homegrown local dishes reminds me a lot of Secret Recipe, hmmm. Except that La Manila is a lot more homely!
Spaghetti - Simple, unassuming, and pretty darn good!
Chicken pie - A signature dish here, marvelous filling and pastry! Reminds me of some of the great pies I used to love in the UK, mmmmh. Cornish pasty anyone?

i was once had at la manila at mid valley, nice... :D
there is a Manila Place in Tesco, Ipoh, with more or less the same food, and guess what? the proprietor it seems, WAS an employee of Secret Recipe's ..! the resemblance is self-explanatory then?

For me this is the best foods, pls try at la manila midvaley, taman megah and taman tun ismail, and see the taste, all food nice specially the cakes...
