L insisted I try her favourite Gado-Gado, and she was right... It's awesome! Simple, full of flavour, like so many things in Tanjung Malim.
The nasi lemak in TM needs little introducing ever since I ranked it as my favourite nasi lemak anywhere! RM$2.30 for a large portion, magic!
Blog entry is titled "Jalan Jalan Cari Makan Tanjong Malim"!
Nasi lemak, Pak Din - Stall No. 18
Mee Rebus - Stall No. 19, Warung Mangga

actually the nasi lemak stall was taken over by hj din's son when the hj passed away several years ago. Julian..if only u had a chance to taste the real one made by hj din. it was absolutely awesome! 90% of the chinese folks in tg malim back then, had breakfast there almost everyday.
Thanks LZ! Yes, I was told by the wife that the "original" was EVEN better :-)
