Lexus CT 200h - Described as a "future hybrid vehicle"!
To be launched in 2011, the CT 200h has a 1.8 Litre in-line-4 engine, with VVT-i.
The Electric Drive Motor is a High-output permanent-magnet electric-drive motor, total output ... 134 BHP. 0-100 Km/H is expected to be inside 9.8 seconds, and combined fuel economy a respectable 42 MPG.
The most luxurious hybrid in the world? You betcha ... This is the Lexus LS600hL.
It is powered by a 5 Litre V8 engine, and high-output electric-drive motor. Total horses? 438 BHP!
And now ... the rarest and most extravagant Lexus of them all ... the LFA. Described as a new breed of Lexus. I just call it a Supercar!
The "pitch"
The champagne glass has been with Lexus since the beginning. Back in 1989, Lexus launched the LS luxury sedan by revving the car’s engine while a pyramid of champagne glasses sat atop the hood – unmoved. Now Lexus is putting a new twist with a short video spot where a lone champagne flute is shattered by the sound generated by the LFA’s 4.8-liter V10 engine.
According to Lexus, the company employed, “a renowned physicist from a leading university” help set up the test – including discovering exactly what type of champagne glass has the same frequency as the LFA’s exhaust note. When the pitch of the glass matches the pitch created from the 552-hp V10 (somewhere between 7,000 and 9,000 rpm), the glass shatters – without the use of special effects or CGI.
The LFA has been praised for its exceptional sounding V10 engine.

True, it may have a carbon fibre chassis, 4.8L V10 engine, and a maximum speed of 325 Km/h with a 0-100 Acceleration time of 3.7 seconds ... but its the rear of the car and the mad 3 tailpipe layout that moves me! The front of the car ... well, it reminds me a little too much of a cross between a 1980s Supra and a Nissan Fairlady 370Z!

That's good...
I'm really thankful for your great collection. It's exciting to see the LFA Lexus. The Abu Dhabi International motor show made it more clear. Now I've to change my decision and to go ahead for a new Lexus LFA.
