David Laris, Founder and Executive Chef of Laris restaurant at Three on the Bund, showcases his first signature restaurant in Shanghai, bringing true passion and flair to the established New World dining philosophy and style.
Laris, which opened last year, has won many plaudits, including being among the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler's "80 Hot Tables 2005" - one of only three restaurants named from China; as "Best Restaurant of the Year" in the Reader's Choice Awards, That's Shanghai, and as one of the "Best Restaurants" by Shanghai Tatler.

Appetiser - Gobbled in down in seconds!


Tried the degustation / taster menu, at abour 600 RMB (RM$300) per head. And it was very memorable! Carpaccio ... so tender, beautiful flavours.


Scallops - To die for!


Tender ... so tender ... loved the lamb. And the neck of pork. Love the foam!!


King fish ... grilled to perfection.


R chose the Pasta ... slurp slurp!


Even more magnificent ... the Desserts. All four of them!!!
My favourite? The magnificent and beyond "cry good" (Thanks R and E for the description!) chocolate cake.


Beautifully crafted ... hand made chocolates. Superb!
