Honda Pilot or MR-V in the Middle East

Here's my experience being in the passenger seat of a Honda MR-V.
It is priced in the UAE at 100K - 120K AED (Roughly RM$110K ... good value for a 3.5 litre beast, eh!).


Described by DriveArabia.com ... The Honda MR-V is a reasonably priced, practical 4WD vehicle that is Honda's biggest vehicle yet. It is powered by a high-revving V6 engine, equipping it with a decent amount of performance for a 4WD, and it carries on for the 2005 model year with minor changes which improve its utility.

My personal experience was that it is huge, but not overly so, and a really good practical vehicle, which is charmingly spartan. The third row of seats are rather small, so I would recommend them for children or small-adults only!


Here's some Wikipedia info ... The new Pilot is available in four trims. Its assembly began in Lincoln, Alabama in the US of A. It receives a new 3.5L V6 VTEC engine producing 250 horsepower (190 kW) SAE net at 5700 rpm and 253 pound-feet (343 N·m) of torque at 4800 rpm.
