With clothes on aka a silicone-skin...
Without their clothes on!
View of the top ... The Curve on the right simply has one button, but the Javelin on the left has a far sexier lock button and Mute/Standby button that's "nearly soft-touch".
As in all these photos, Javelin is on the left photo and Curve is the right photo.
The USB port has been switched around in the Javelin, which used to be on the left-side of the Curve.
I miss the "full size" mini-USB port of the Curve, the Javelin now sports a micro-USB port. That's another cable for me to lug around, previously I could use my camera's mini-USB to USB cable.
I prefer the new Javelin "ball" or "black pearl" design, less lightly to trap dirt ...
Keypad's pretty much similar in tactile feel when you get used to it, but the Javelin is marginally more solid and better built. Mind you, what lies under the skin ... The Javelin has a 512 MHz processor, compared to the meeker Curve's 312 MHz.
One of the biggest differences between the two ... I prefer the Javelin's 3.2 Megapixel Auto-focus camera, whilst the Curve has to make-do with a 2.0 Megapixel fixed-focus camera.
If you look closely at the left photo, you will notice a sleeker, cleaner, and smoother design in the Javelin with the one piece glass cover which protects both the auto-focus camera and flash ... Nice!
Overall ... a brilliant evolution by BlackBerry, the Javelin is a wonderful device, and the O/S seems to be really stable too (Espesh compared to the Bold). Big Thumbs Up!!

Hey...I happen to stumble upon this page on your blog, and was just wondering where did you get the silicone covers from? They're very pretty and functional...I have a Blackberry Curve 8230, and could do with an "outfit" for it as well...
Skins were from ...
Curve: US of America
(But seems Celcom shops have them too, but that was some months ago!)
Javelin: Abu Dhabi, UAE!
Good luck ;-)
