Welcome to my 999th blog ever ...
And yes, this BKT joint certainly deserves to take a special place in my blog. Its that good!
Sam Mei (Three Beauties) Bak Kut Teh is located adjacent to Lai Hing kopitiam in Pandamaran (Klang), and I was introduced to this place by Eugene and his dad.
What's good ...
The fragrant rice
The incredibly delicious soup
What's interesting ...
They don't give you any extra soup / top-up
The fact that you may have to wait 30 minutes for your order to be taken / to arrive
What's not so good!
If you insist on Yau Cha Kuay, there isn't any!
If you like to drown your BKT rice with soup (like I normally do!)
This is the purest form of BKT I have ever enjoyed, and it was simply divine. Even without the Yau Cha Kuay, having JUST enough soup, AND waiting for half an hour ... I would still return. The best? Quite possibly!
For detailed directions on how to get there, its located on the main road adjacent to..
Sri Choon Keng seafood directions
The magic...
The aftermath...
