Been meaning to try this much-recommended restaurant for a year now, and finally had the chance this evening. Beware of long queues, the restaurant is small, and very popular, do try to make a reservation. It was worth the wait though, the food is good!

A delicious start ... Oyster spring rolls, RM$5 each.

Stir fried beef with ginger and spring onions - Delicious! RM$17

Fried tofu - RM$13. Wasn't overly impressed, but I was glad it was reasonably moist.

Well recommended dish, I really enjoyed this ... Basil chicken. RM$26

Stir fried asparagus with almond flakes (RM$19) - Really enjoyed the simplicity and flavour of this dish!

Sweet potato porridge (Yes, the potato was exceptionally smooth and good!) - RM$2.50
(Rice is RM$2.50 as well in Fong Lye, a diet coke costs RM$5, tea is RM$3 per person, and the lotus tidbits cost RM$4).

Lemon-honey cordial ... to wash down the meal. Complimentary, and so yummy!

Fong Lye Desa Sri Hartamas
Very Bad services. Not 1st come 1st serve! Give the table to the regular customer instead of the customer who came 1st. And the waiters, waitress, and 1 Chinese man very x10 rude to the customer.

I think the staffs should be trained properly!
