Zipangu Japanese, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur

Lunch was at a very special restaurant in a great KL hotel...


I chose the Wagyu cooked in Charcoal with Tempura meal, RM$200.
The wagyu beef was tender and exquisite, but would you believe it ... the Chawanmushi (Steamed egg) stole the show, the smoothest egg I have ever had!


Here's the RM$60 Cha-Soba with Beef Soup meal, excellent!


And to wash down what was a very memorable meal, BLACK SESAME ICECREAM ... exquisite!

If you dine regularly here, make sure you get a platinum card, I think it costs about RM$600 subscription per year, but get this ... you get FIFTY PERCENT off at all F&B outlets in Shangri-La if there are 2 diners. For example, the meal above would have come up to RM$300, but we paid RM$150. Bargain!
