Soo Kee Char Siew, Ampang

Not so legendary after all ... I found the char-siew to be very fat, and a bit sticky. Perhaps this place was great a long time ago, but I wouldn't return ... alas!

are you serious? the sticky part is bcos they dip it in honey which is the reason it is so famous. as to fat or not, you can request for less fat. we all go there for the fat charsiew. it is the best charsiew everyone talks about it. even every single foreigner gets addicted to it.
