Klang Palace revisited ... Tim sum lunch

I like the timsum at Klang Palace ... here's another return visit :-) Is located at Centro Mall (photo below) along the Federal Highway (left side as you travel in from KL), as you approach Klang town.

Add: F101 A , 1st Floor , Centro Mall , 7 Jalan Batu Tiga Lama , Klang.

I remember on my last visit to Klang Palace review the service was terrible, they HAVE redeemed themselves on this particular visit ... but it was a quiet early lunch meal. When I previously went on the weekend, it was just packed, and they couldn't handle the crowd.

The REALLY good timsum ... Siew Yoke (Roast Pork), and Pei Tan Sau Yoke Chuk (Pork and Century Egg Porridge).

The good timsum ... Ham Sui Kok (Char siew inside), Steamed Pork Ribs, Char Siew Chee Cheong Fun, and Siew Mai with Shitake mushroom bits.

Simply average ... Golden Beard something timsum (which had too much fried golden beard bits!), and Carrot Cake with Lap Cheong (but WHERE was the lap-cheong ... didn't see any!).

Each dish came up to RM$6+ on average, and the total bill for the two of us ... RM$67.

UPDATE Oct 2008! Cumi and Ciki writes a review about Klang Palace too!
