Thanks to AP for suggesting this eatery for Mother's Day lunch ;-) this year! She described it as a better value alternative to Reunion Bangsar Village, and she was right. The food was good!

As always, I will let the food do the talking ;-) Yong lat chiu (Stuffed fish paste in chilli) was good, and being a Lor Mai Kai connoisseur ... I had to order one, really good!

Not being one who "eats in sequence", eg starter - mains - sweet, I went straight to the egg tarts which were decent.

On to 2 really good dishes ... Pork Chop ;-) served on a bed of sweet onions. Mmmmmh. And the ultra smooth Pei Tan Sau Yuk Porridge. Excellent!

A couple of healthier options, the steamed tim sums ... Anything with beancurd skin (Fu chuk), I always like! The siew mais were OK, as was the Xiu Loong Bao.

Who would have thought one from French-chinese origins would order the Chicken's feet, oops Fung Chau. Yes, PP ordered this, and ate most of it I think. My dad chose the beef brisket, I loved the soup!

My family are Woo Kok fiends, we ordered this twice ... And for the finale, Siew Yuk. There's precious metal, and there's... precious pork. It sure felt that way as we each had only one piece :-( What can I say but it was really well loved by one and all!
I was impressed - Good service, really good food, place for us on Mother's Day (Most other restaurants were full!) and good value too ... About RM$30 per head.

Pei tan sau yuk chuk sounds dee-vine!! I heard that this place isn't exactly the most innovative in terms of dim sum, but what they do, they do well. Think I might hit it this wkend!
