Esquire Kitchen, Atria Shopping Centre (PJ)

Esquire Kitchen has been around as far as I remember (The days of my parents taking me there ... now I take them!) ... Went to the outlet (Tel: +603 7729 6563) in Atria Shopping Centre, Damansara Jaya, last night. Service was rather poor, lots of shouting by the waiters and waitresses at each other, and there was at least a 10 minute wait between the first dish arriving (Brinjal - YUMMY!) and the next dishes!


Anyway, on to the good stuff ... I love the food! Homely, comfort szechuan and shanghainese dishes ... Old Cucumber double-boiled soup, Pork stir-fried with sengkuang (The stuff that goes in popiah, it seems), the Man Taus which go so well with the before-mentioned brinjals with minced pork, and the piece de resistance ... Fried Wantons with Sweet and Sour Sauce (which had shrimps and minced chicken in it too, so nice!) , and a meal at Esquire Kitchen would not be complete without their 'signature' Cha Chiang Mien.
Other super dishses that I normally have, but didn't order this time ... Xiu Long Bao , Wor Tip and Tong Poh Yoke.
