WD External Hard Drive - My Book Essential Edition 1000Gb

Again, purchased at Digital Mall in PJ's Section 14. Great value ... RM$820 for this 1,000 Gb (YES, that's 1 Terabyte!) external / powered hard-drive.

Ps. What confused me when I purchased ... was the mind boggling amount of storage now available, I believe there are even 2 TB drives in the market (Retailing at something like RM$2,300).

Wikipedia ... A terabyte (derived from the prefix tera- and commonly abbreviated TB) is a measurement term for data storage capacity. The value of a terabyte is based upon a decimal radix (base 10) and is defined as one trillion (short scale) bytes, or 1000 gigabytes.

Ranting! Hmm ... bring on the next generation Pentabyte aka 10,000 Gigabytes :-) !!
