Koon Kee Kon Loh Mee (Wantan Mee), Petaling Street

Really good kon loh mee at Petaling Street ... Chinatown is just a mecca of makan and 'not so original' goods !!! The sauce here is rather special ... "Not so black, aka not so much 'hak see yau'!" The noodles are really good too, of the 'sticky variety'.
Hung Kee of Jalan Loke Yew still takes some beating, but that is of a different variety ... Hung Kee is more 'sophisticated', whilst this place is good and simple. Reminds me a little of the place I used to go, growing up in Klang, near the Klang Railway Station, but that is now a bygone era... Damnit, I am such a Kon Loh Mee Foodie!

Check out the cool Automated parking lot at the adjacent Malaya Hotel, damn scary man! Beware of the attendant though, "RESPECT MA AUTHORITY!"
