What I liked ... Good mushrooms with roast pork, EXCELLENT roast pork in black sauce

What was OK ... Patrick recommended the Blue Cheese Pork Burger (a wee bit cheesy for me!), decent garden salad, the Australian Cab Sav.

What I didn't ... The girl at the front desk wasn't particularly pleasant when I walked in, but she re-deemed herself with a 'thank you' as I was leaving!

The damage ... Langmeil Blacksmith Cabernet Sauvignon (RM$118), Caramelised Roast Pork @ 200g (RM$14), Sauteed Mushroom with Roast Pork (RM$16), Green Salad (RM$6) and Blue Cheese Pork Burger (RM$18)

A local cake company makes these readily available cakes ... Pretty yummy! Full of orange taste, and fluffy too, can't go wrong with that!

Calamansi with Grapefruit ... The Drink

Refreshing and home made! Kut-chai with Grapefruit bits ... very nice!
As inspired by Red Ginger's (Only difference is I don't get service staff going 'HUH!?' at me, at home!) version ... Haiyah, couldn't find pomello under short notice, but Grapefruit gives it that zest and tangy too!

Durian Ice cream

I may not be the biggest durian fan ... but I sure like this Thai durian icecream! Bravo :-)

My first foray into ROAD-SIDE ASSAM LAKSA eating! Yummy!

Wasn't particularly cheap though, cost me just over 3 bucks for the bowl! Washed down with some (What-else!) sugar cane juice. Slurp!
