Moti Mahal Delux - Indian food at Abu Dhabi

I wouldn't recommend this place ... Quite expensive, prepare to pay about 100 AED for 2 persons, and the food just isn't as good as Tandoori Corner, Konkans or Subhiksha!

This is Moti Mahal Delux ... Yes, the decor is nice, service is good ... and the baby/child-facilities are good, but that's about it!

Located: Off Salam Street, Abu Dhabi
Tel: +971 2 674 2121

Decent poppadoms!

Butter naan is OK (5 AED each, ouch!), the Mutton Briyani is good! Expensive ... Gohst Hydrebad Briyani, 33 AED.
Pretty decent tandoori chicken too, but just not spectacular! Called the Tandoori Murg, priced at 30 AED per piece of chicken.

Murg Maharaja ... chicken curry, 30 AED. And Fish Masala at 35 AED.
bbG was dissapointed that her fave dish wasn't up to scratch here, Palak Paneer (23 AED).

I stole this shot from Time Out Abu Dhabi ... it no longer looks like this!
Here's what the entrance looks like at the moment, as of January 2011 :-)
Ps. I would recommend the following places instead ...
1) Tandoori Corner, near Old Fathima Supermarket (Tel: +971 2 445 8686)
2) Konkans, Hamdan (Tel: +971 2 676 0588)
3) Subhiksha, Hamdan area (Tel. +971 2 676 0675)
