A trip down memory lane ... Zoo Negara, Malaysia

Armed with RM$15 each as well as my Nikon D80 and Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8, we headed to Kuala Lumpur's Zoo Negara. It was my first trip there since I was a little boy, and we had a great time!

Hmm ... reminds me of Marty the Zebra, from Madagascar!

Relaxed...

Mama giraffe ... and baby zirafah :-)

Big boy!

Gorgeous Hornbill (Burung Enggang ... Oops, I stand-corrected, this ain't a bangau - There were bangaus in the zoo though, it just wasn't this fella!)

Cheeky monkey!

Tiger Woods :-)

Uh ... not talking to each other!?

No wonder he is grumpy!

"Here's looking at you, kid!"

The first camels I had seen this year, not in Abu Dhabi or the desert ... but in the comforts of Zoo Negara, Kuala Lumpur!

For the tall... and the short!

And lastly ... the freshwater and sea-water aquarium.

Never knew there were freshwater stonefish!

Last piccies of the day :-) What a great trip and day out!
