This is reputedly one of the 'famous' kayas of Malaysia, from this very popular shop ... Visited en route back from a trip to Redang. Pity I am NOT a good Kaya Toast Chef ... duh, I will stick with Ya Kun of Singapore or Uncle Lim of Malaysia next time ... Hmm, actually I am due a trip to Old Town White Coffee and their antique cast iron oven (which makes BEAUTIFUL kaya toast!) when I am next in Ipoh (this weekend!).
