Dinner with Keng Han & Whye Mun in this Shanghainese joint ...
Indifferent la-mien (Keng Han's wasn't spicy enough, mine was OK) , didn't try the xiu-long bao (Stan and Debs say it ain't v good!) , rather good crispy duck (sort of like the Aromatic Duck we used to enjoy in the UK!) , so-so almond jelly , the vege (beans with minced pork) was very good , durian fritters were goooooooood (lotsa durian, interlaced with some mango ... sort of like a decadent GORENG PISANG!) ... overall so-so. Moderately expensive at RM$35 per head.
