Monsters, Inc. is a 2001 Academy Award winning film and the fourth computer animated produced by Pixar Animation Studios.
Monsters Inc is set in Monstropolis, a city inhabited by monsters, some of whom are the ones who emerge from bedroom closets to scare human children. This is used to collect the screams of kids, which power the city. The main power company in the city is called Monsters, Inc.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer is a crab-like monster called Henry J. Waternoose (James Coburn). The top scarer at Monsters, Inc. is James P. Sullivan, aka "Sulley" (John Goodman), a blue-furred bear / gorilla like giant who is partnered with the green, one-eyed Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal).
