Wasn't easy to shoot these leaves with the wind blowing ... focus , no-focus , focus , no-focus ... I need a newer body ;-) D700s / D700x I hear?

UAE Heritage Village - Feathered friends

Hello from the UAE Heritage Village in Abu Dhabi ... A really nice Friday out with MD - We were two Nikonians and some feathered friends ;-)

Most of the shots were taken with my awesome new Nikkor 85mm f/1.4D uber-lens, but a couple were taken with my more modest Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D. The body? As always ... my long-serving Nikon D80.



Thank goodness the heat died down for a couple of hours whilst we explored the Heritage Village!

Day out at an interesting fort, near Heritage Village

On the way to the UAE Heritage Village (Near the Lulu Island Jetty), I found a "fort". Interesting photo opportunity ;-) with my Nikon D80 and Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D.
