Al Nafourah - Lebanese, Le Meridien @ KL

We enjoyed this Semi Buffet mid last week, just haven't had the chance to update this particular blog! It seems the buffet is available every Thursday to Saturday. It is priced at RM108++ per adult (and RM58++ per child), inclusive of Arabic Coffee and Shisha. I didn't try the latter though, pity!

The starters ... go help yourself from the huge buffet spread. Slurp! I went twice :-)
Of special mention, various varieties of hummus, and other Middle-Eastern salads. I did find the soup rather boring though! Some of the specialty breads were to die for (such as the flat-ish one on my plate ... fabulous!) It seems the flat bread is made fresh daily, in the traditional way (baked lightly in a clay oven).

The kebabs (Lamb, chicken, beef all beautifully marinated) are brought to the table ... eat as much as you want! Between the four of us, we managed about 6 skewers!

The food prepared by Chef Ibrahim Hamam ranges from good to excellent, and from 8.15pm to about 10pm everyday except Sundays there is even a belly dancer making her rounds around the restaurant!

The desserts ... oh my! Yummy!

Overall ... great ambience, nice authentic touches with the belly dancing, and rather good value! Must return with a large group one of these days!

Ps. Look what I stumbled on as I was heading to the loo ... there's a really quaint sit down area adjacent to the lifts next to the restaurant!
