Wah Lok tim-sum, Carlton Hotel (Singapore)

Wedding lunch of Gary and Ester, at Wah Lok in Carlton Hotel which serves ... very possibly ... the best tim sum bar none, in Malaysia and Singapore. Only comparable timsum in my books can be found in London's Bayswater area! My favourite item is certainly the Por Lor Bao aka Roast Pork Bun with Yummy Crust pastry on the top. Exquisite!

Our two families joined together for dinner, which was hosted by my mum and dad
To-fu and scallops, Herbal chicken, Fish fillet in Claypot, 2 types of Veges, Pork ribs, Sweet and Sour Pork, Har Cheong Chicken, Chilli Crab with both steamed & fried Man-Tou, and various items from the 'Sweet Talk Menu' for afters. Food ranged between good and excellent ... a yummy meal!

Jia Xiang Ko Lo Mee, Singapore

A chain of Ko Lo Mee shops has opened in Singapore ... and it's actually good! Mmmmmmmmh :-) But I still prefer the air-flown version that Yu Ye and Dau brought back for me! Nevertheless, lucky Singaporeans .... :-)

Funny cars in Singapore!

In just 3 days in Singapore ... I spotted some glorious exquisite wheels, including a Merc CLS wedding car at Mandarin Oriental Orchard Road, numerous BMW 6-series, the dreamy E92 new BMW 3-series coupe top-up and top-down, a Porsche Cayman in a carpark, as well as a hard-to-see-the-difference new Porsche Cayenne on the road!
