Koenigsegg CCX - The Showroom, only in Abu Dhabi

Yes ... there's a Koenigsegg (Hard to spell!) showroom in Abu Dhabi, but there was only one CCX inside. Hmmm, I wonder if the economic downturn means this showroom is in danger of closing!?



Who are they!?
Koenigsegg Automotive AB is a Swedish manufacturer of high-performance sports cars based in Ängelholm. In 2009, the company announced they would purchase Saab Automobile from General Motors however, this deal was later scrapped.

Wasn't easy to shoot these leaves with the wind blowing ... focus , no-focus , focus , no-focus ... I need a newer body ;-) D700s / D700x I hear?

UAE Heritage Village - Feathered friends

Hello from the UAE Heritage Village in Abu Dhabi ... A really nice Friday out with MD - We were two Nikonians and some feathered friends ;-)

Most of the shots were taken with my awesome new Nikkor 85mm f/1.4D uber-lens, but a couple were taken with my more modest Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D. The body? As always ... my long-serving Nikon D80.



Thank goodness the heat died down for a couple of hours whilst we explored the Heritage Village!
