Fine tuning the set-up of the fabulous Atomic Z2 (Surprisingly good value for a high performance piece of kit! Ask Sharon for a price, tell her Juliansi.blogspot.com sent you.) ...

Here's a comparison between the B2 with swivel, which costs RM$900+ more then the Z2 ...

C went for a pool try-out, heh heh .... caught in action!

Chicken Rice in PJ - Magnificent!

Thanks to H for taking me to this chicken rice ... Directions and address to follow later next week, all I remember was it is in PJ, not far from the NKVE Damansara exit. Slurp slurp!

Fragrant and fabulous steamed chicken rice ...
Only RM$12 for steamed chicken + char siew + siew yoke (roast pork) ... Magnificent!

Cigarettes are cheap in Shanghai Airport!

Tip! Shanghai airport has some of the cheapest ciggies of any Duty Free shop ...
Shanghai, China = RM$43
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia = RM$50

Volvo S80 Made in Malaysia

Volvos keep looking better in each and every reincarnation! This latest version (happens to be the second generation) of the S80 was spotted along the NKVE Damansara exit.

ps. This is a CKD (Completely Knocked Down) model manufactured here in Shah Alam, by Swedish Motor Assembly, Kuala Lumpur(Would you believe, Volvo has been manufacturing in Malaysia since 1968?).
It costs a very reasonable RM$268,500, and features a 2.5 Turbo engine.
In comparison, the CBU (Completely Built Up, or fully imported) S80 3.2 V6 goes for RM398,000!

Johnnie Walker Gold Label at a house party

Thanks to Mr Y for the invite to his house-party ... great food, found it hard to believe it was catered, tasted so 'home-cooked'!

This certainly helped ... Johnnie Walker Gold Label, aged 18 years. Really good!

Mr Y's little furry friends!

Rebate is spelt Rebat in Bahasa Malaysia

Gotta love the simplicity of Bahasa Malaysia (Malay language) ... Rebat !?
Spotted at Maxis in Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI), KL.

Restoran Mosin @ Taman Tun Dr Ismail

Had previously wondered why this mamak joint at TTDI (Taman Tun Dr Ismail) seems to always be busy ... now I understand, the food is excellent!

Good ... albeit spicey Nasi Lemak, and superb Roti Pisang. Slurp slurp, especially when dipped in the sambal + ikan curry sauce. Bravo!

Cool Proton Waja registration plate

Got tonnes more pics from Shanghai to share, but I thought I would do the up-to-date post-Shanghai weekend piccies first :-)

Here's a nice Waja registration plate, spotted at KL Sentral when I returned home!

Wor Tip and Street Noodles @ Pudong, Shanghai

Wor Tip (or Pan Fried Dumplings) as is Xiu Loong Bao are very popular Shanghainese 'small-eats' (Siu Sake) or convenience food. Here's some yummy ones we had near our hotel, street-side. It was good!

Splendid!

And this was interesting ... Cold noodles. Choice of different flat noodles, mixed/stirred/kon-loh with various bits and pieces. Tasted OK I guess!

Street food in Pudong, Shanghai

Here is a selection of street food that we enjoyed near our hotel in Pudong, Shanghai ... we tried ALL the stalls at the street corner :-) Haha!

Roti canai-esque hot-dog! Delicious ...

Another stall was selling a variation of the above ... pretty good too.

Interesting fruits ... Cherries as well as lychee like fruits, which can be eaten whole, without peeling!
