Yummy starters, we declined a few other varieties but chose these ... The yummy egg, tasty ikan bilis (Anchovies), Salad with vinegar dressing and Potato salad.

Ordered some really tasty Korean soup, Soon Jjigae (RM$18) which somehow ... came along ... with Steamed Egg in a claypot (don't know why this was part of a 'set'), which turned out scrumptious ... slurp!

Tue Bae Gi - Pork and tang hoon in a beautiful broth, served in a very VERY hot sizzling claypot (RM$20)

This was the first time perhaps we tried the BBQ meats here ... and it certainly impressed. Here's the BBQ Pork aka Dwaehigalbi (RM$30). Juicy, tasty and not overly-marinated, delicious!

We washed down our meal with lovely Korean tea with brown rice-infusion (RM$1.50 each), as well as a bottle of Korean beer, Cafri (RM$15) . Light, but tasty, good stuff!

Everything here is authentically Korean, even the Toothpicks. Love the level of detail!

Ps - Here's just one review of Arisu from my many visits to this homely place!

Lamborghini Countach - NKVE revisited

A week after Stanley spotted this Lamborghini Countach on the NKVE I spotted the same fella, car plate BN8 (Barisan Nasional!!!?) on the Damansara exit. I managed a couple more photos this time ...

Wolf Blass Eaglehawk 2005 - Chardonnay

Hmmm, did not enjoy this Chardonnay - Wolf Blass Eaglehawk 2005 specimen, only RM$45 from Tioman duty-free! Was too fruity!!

Marmalade @ Plaza Mont Kiara

Add: LG-1A Shoplex at Mont Kiara, Jalan Kiara, Mont Kiara, KL
Tel: +603 6201 1743

My super yummy Orange Juice (RM$7) ... no sugar, no ice of course.

Chilling out on a Sunday afternoon ...

Avocado salad (RM$14 - Small? No way... such a large portion!). Plenty of fruits, yummy.

Havana salad (RM$14 - small, but check out the large helping!) - J's choice, and it was deeeeelicious! Can't remember the name of those yummy cheese pieces, but it was genuinely slurpilicious!!! Marmalade makes some excellent salads.
UPDATE 2nd June! The cheese is called ... Halloumi (Here's a blurb from good ol' Wikipedia!) is a cheese indigenous to Cyprus. It is traditionally made from a mixture of goat's and sheep's milk, although some halloumi can be bought that also contains cows' milk.
It is used in cooking, as it can be fried until brown without melting due to its higher-than-normal melting point, making it a good cheese for frying or grilling (such as in saganaki), as an ingredient in salads, or fried and served with vegetables.
Ps. Thanks to myCoffee for the reminder.

Marmalade Deli Beef Burger (RM$18) - Lovely beef patty, as well as yummy onion relish alongside. My choice, yummy choice!

Passage to India sandwich (Focaccia @ RM$17) - Slurrrrp!

Jo's choice ... Teriyaki sandwich (RM$17) - Looks good!

Other items we had ... Hot chocolate (RM$7), Ice Lemon Tea (RM$6), Double dose juice - Orange and apple (RM$8), and Detox helper (RM$9).

Overall ... No complaints whatsoever! Enjoyed the food, which was reasonably healthy, fresh juices and good company :-) Marmalade is back!
Ps. There are many fans of the old Marmalade ? Here's a review of it!

Nilai Springs Golf - Round with Jeanette, Pete & Andrew

40 minute swift driving from Klang to Nilai Springs, near Negeri Sembilan, off the PLUS / North South highway, taking the exit AFTER KLIA. We were very pleasantly surprised to learn that it was BUGGY ON TRACK, yay!

This was my 3rd round here ...
Previous rounds at Nilai Springs

Here's me trying to be a hero and unplug a ball which had hit the muddy bank ... I didn't fall into the water, but the ball did not come out either. Ended up having to take a drop!

The buggies were the best anywhere ... Silent, powerful and had excellent comfy seats.

Here's Jeanette, Andrew and Pete in action!

We managed to complete our round in just 4 and a half hours, and it was a lot of fun ... I managed one par in the front 9, and one in the back 9. Total score = 54 + 50 = 104.

This Warbird is a classic!

Ps. Hmm, seems like Hong Leong mantains their buggies!
