A nice looking bakery that always seems to have a queue of people getting various bits of cakes and bakery items :-) There's also a cafe/restaurant in the back, which I would like to try one day soon!


Chicken curry bun (RM$2.20) - Very yummy. The pandan leaf wrapping lends a distinctive aroma to the soft bun.
Chicken sausage boni (RM$2.20) - Good, but I am not a big fan of the flakes sprinkled on the top. Again, the bun is yummy.

Had a weird craving the past 2 days ... The Chicken Rice Shop. So I succumbed to temptation, and went to my local AEON Bukit Tinggi mall, to indulge :-)

Ordered the Single Chicken Set ... Steamed chicken and rice, which was really just average. I liked the gravy, but there were only drops of it!


It came with (again, average!) Bean Sprouts as well as supremely delicious Pai Tee. Slurp!


And, a really non-descript and less then average Rainbow Delight dessert. Sort of like a jelly. Meal also comes with a soft drink, but I opted for a cuppa hot chinese tea instead.


The damage? RM$10.90 +service +tax ... RM$12.


Will I be returning? Not for chicken rice ... perhaps for the yummy pai tee!

Haagen-Dazs, Solaris @ Mont Kiara - Best waffles ever!

Solaris a new residential-commercial mixed development, at the far end of Mont' Kiara is starting to pick up steam ... Cold Storage is now opened (a month now), and there is even a Haagen-Dazs cafe here!

Best waffles in town! - Tastes fantastic, texture is brilliant, and the accompanying scoops of strawberry and rum and rasin heavenly! (RM$29.90 - pricey, but o so amazing!)


Crepe with single scoop of incredible Coffee ice-cream (RM$7.90 + $13.90).
H only found the crepe average, I agree! Tasted bland ... sigh.


Hey cool! Note the bill, which basically helps split the bill whilst in a group :-) How convenient!

Volvo S60 2.0T (2003) - For Sale

Friend of mine is selling his wheels ... Volvo S60 2.0T (Automatic).
Seems like great value, still drives nice (I had to take it for a quick test drive in Mont Kiara before doing this write-up!), and the seats are mega comfortable as in all Volvos! Hmm, I'd upgrade them 16" alloys though, at least 18"s I reckon!
Mileage: 85,000 plus kilometres

The S60 marked a clean break for Volvo from the boxy design that many stereotyped the brand with in 1980s and 90s. Its design by Peter Horbury built upon the styling of the S80 and was the most marked departure from traditional Volvo styling since Horbury joined the firm in 1992. The S60 was refreshed in 2005. The exterior was updated with body-colored side moldings and bumpers, as well as new headlamps.

RHB has a new logo

As I was driving pass SS2, in PJ, I noticed RHB Bank has a new 'funkier' logo.
More like a font change, me thinks?

RHB to unveil new group logo today
KUALA LUMPUR: The RHB banking group, controlled by the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), is expected to unveil its new logo at a ceremony attended by Second Finance Minister Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop today.
EPF chief executive officer Datuk Azlan Zainol, who is also chairman of RHB Bank Bhd, will deliver his speech at the event and is expected to hold a press conference after that.
Yesterday, RHB Investment Management Sdn Bhd (RHBIM), the group's fund management arm, launched its first commodity investment fund.
RHBIM is the merged entity of RHB Asset Management Sdn Bhd and RHB Unit Trust Bhd.

The Lamborghini Countach was a mid-engined sports car produced by Italian automaker Lamborghini from 1974 to 1990.
The design of the Countach popularized, but did not pioneer, the wedge-shaped, sharply angled look popular in many high performance supercars. The "cabin-forward" design concept, which pushes the passenger compartment forward in order to accommodate a larger engine, was also popularized by the Countach.
The word countach (Pronounced kun-taj) is an exclamation of astonishment in the local Piedmontese language - generally used by men on seeing an extremely beautiful woman. While the term is often considered untranslatable into English, it is essentially equivalent to the British lager lout verbalization "Fwwaaaa", or it can also be considered the verbal equivalent of a Wolf Whistle.

The Countach name stuck when Nuccio Bertone first saw "Project 112" in his studio. The prototype was introduced to the world at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show. Most previous Lamborghini car names were associated with bulls and bullfighting.

In 2004, Sports Car International named this car number three on the list of Top Sports Cars of the 1970s, and it was listed as number ten on their list of Top Sports Cars of the 1980s. The Countach has been discontinued for 18 years and still enjoys a massive fan appreciation.

The Countach was styled by Marcello Gandini of the Bertone design studio, the same designer and studio that designed the Miura. Gandini was then a young, inexperienced designer—not very experienced in the practical, ergonomic aspects of automobile design, but at the same time unhindered by them. He produced a quite striking design. The Countach shape was wide and low (42.1 inches), but not very long. Its angular and wedge-shaped body was made almost entirely of flat, trapezoidal panels. There were curves, notably the smoothly coke-bottle wing line, but the overall appearance was sharp.
