Ole Sayang Nyonya restaurant in Melaka was rather dissapointing ... The highlight was the
chicken pon-teh ($7.60), but I found the
Sambal Brinjals (Eggplant) / Sambal Terung ($9) way too hot, as was the
Chilli prawn / Udang Goreng Cili ($15). The
assam fish 'Jenak' ($26) was strange tasting, but I've been told that's how the Babas and Nyonyas do it! I did like the ancestor photos on the walls!
