We chose a simple BBQ burger.


Not appetising looking, but reasonable tasting mashed potatoes!


Alongside this BK is ... Modesto and Rain. New and old friends :-)
It wasn't really packed as it was booked-up for a friend's family birthday, but the DJ was excellent!

Old Taste Ipoh White Coffee, SS2 in PJ

Located in SS2, PJ and newly opened in June 2008 .... Another 'authentic' modern kopitiam!


The boiled eggs actually came last ... but was really tasty. Kaya toast with Peanut Butter was good though.


I was originally sceptical about yet another 'modern' kopitiam, but I loved the Mee Siam. So delicious, especially the sambal.


The Hainanese Chicken Chop was very good, even though the red sauce was actually simply baked beans :-) 'gravy'.


Truly dissapointing ... watered down and bland Orange Juice.

The really friendly propietor told me that egg is mixed with the chicken so that it is 'smoother', I couldn't argue. It was good!


The prawns are just so fresh! We also got some fried dumplings aka sui kao.


Meal came up to RM$25 for each of us, rather good value. Excellent as always!

Senja Italian, Saujana Subang

Dinner @ The Saujana in Subang ...
Senja is a nice italian restaurant, that doesn't seem to be particularly busy!


Nice setting!


Caesar salad, followed by Roast lamb that was quite exquisite, and finally Tiramisu. A good meal!


ps - We had a bottle of the 2005 Adelaide Hills Shaw and Smith M3 to accompany the food, it was excellent as usual. Priced at just under RM$200.

Saab Estate - Souped up!

Mini Cooper with checked roof

Spotted in Subang ... lovely little example of a Mini Cooper.
How much does it cost locally? Just shy of RM$200k or over USD$60k!

Bukit Kemuning Golf Club

Round of golf at Bukit Kemuning . Played Back Nine first, a decent 48, but struggled with a 54 on the Front Nine ... sigh! It was good to meet some new friends though :-)
