Ikea Restaurant - Meatballs are yummy!

Here's our Sunday tea at the Ikea Restaurant in Mutiara Damansara ...

Special offer ... just say the magic words, "PAX 10 YEARS GUARANTEE!"

At the check-out ...

Our meal ... The swedish meatballs with cranberry sauce, the gravy and the bun was great!

A nice cheese-ham sandwich ...

Did you know that with your Ikea Friends Visa you can get a free cuppa coffee (or tea), with unlimited refills, each and every day :-) I found out from CCY today!
Ps - All the above came up to only RM$25 :-) Slurp!

Ikea Damansara - Study Chair shopping

Went shopping with my friends ... for a Study Chair @ IKEA :-)

Wee bit too expensive ...

Too strange! Both of these!

Hmm, not very comfy.

Finally, we chose one! Proud new owner :-) at the check-out!

Does the Waja look like a C-Class?

The latest Proton Saga v the new Mercedes C-Class!

ps - I used to think they look REALLY alike, but now ... hmm, I don't think so. The Saga has hints of the Vios (Toyota) and Fabia (Skoda) me reckon.

Car wrapped up like a present ... not!

Hmm, wonder how I can submit this to 'Thumbnails RM$50 contest' in The Star!?

Ps - As seen in Setapak ... only in Setapak!

Launch - Prima Setapak II by UOA

Attended the launch of UOA's new development, Prima Setapak II in the Setapak area of Kuala Lumpur. I wonder if it should present good rental yields, being closed to University TAR?

One can choose from the Gombak view or KLCC/City view (the latter being RM$10-20k more expensive). Some units I viewed ranged from 1,400 - 2,000 sq.ft and were priced around the RM$300k mark.

Highlight of the visit? The food which was free-flowing ... Nasi Lemak, Char Kuay Teow, Satay, Roti Canai, Ice Cream, Ice Kachang, etc! Was rather good too ... Catered for by Asia Garden Caterer. Details noted below:-

Thanks for the treat, Ka :-) We celebrated H's birthday at Dynasty ... and it was excellent!

I think we must have ordered nearly every variety of Tim Sum Tang Palace has to offer ... and it ranged from good to excellent!

The egg tarts were small but perfectly formed ... yum.

These were really good too ... so many different varieties of dumplings!

The Foo Chuk Kuen and Siew Mai were espesh yummy!

Nice Char siew pao and excellent Glutinous Rice in Lotus Leaf too.

Mmmmh ...

Time for Porridge ... and Chee Cheong Fun too! And some noodles to go along with all the Tim sum as well ... what a treat!

Excellent Stir fried veges!

Another 2 signature dishes of Tang Palace @ Dynasty ... the Siew Yoke (Roast Pork) and the Chee Toh Tong (Pig stomach soup) ... SLURRRRP!

The masterpiece? The sweet and sour ... chicken! It was so smooth and good, it nearly tasted like pork. YUMMYYYY!

And finally ... a variety of yummy desserts, including Gwai Lin Goh (Herbal jelly) , Mango pudding et al.
