Bonjuk - Korean porridge, Sri Hartamas revisited!

Add: 18, Ground Floor, Jalan 25/70A, Desa Sri Hartamas, KL
Tel: +603 2300 2302
Update 23rd March 2010! Alas ... Just found out its now closed

It had been a year and a half since I last visited this eatery, good to see that Bonjuk is still open for business. Andrew, the personable propietor was however in Korea for a holiday.

Korean porridge @ Ginseng Chicken (RM$12.95) - Delicious!

Korean porridge @ Seafood mix (RM$15.95) - Equally tasty!

We washed down the meal with some full-bodied Korean Barley tea, RM$1.50 each.

I find it a wee bit surprising that this restaurant rarely has more then a handful of loyal diners in it, the food is wholesome, well priced, tasty and what a unique niche ... Korean and Porridge! Maybe the narrow niche is why business never seems to be better then average!
